I guess if I had to sum myself up in a few words those would be the words I choose, but I’ll do my best to tell you a bit more about me.

I’ve been a coach for nearly 20 years now and received multiple certifications, my degree in Kinesiology… so yeah, I’m a lifer here. All through my years, I’ve helped HUNDREDS of people, like you, achieve goals they never thought possible.

I’ve taken a liking to coaching those that are in their 30’s through early 50’s to get in the best shape of their life because, I GET IT. Recovery is longer, injuries happen easier, life is a lot more chaotic, all the while you still think/feel that you are in your 20’s; so it’s a bit of a weird time in your life that your mind hasn’t caught up to your body.

You have to be smarter now. BUT, with smarter training and nutrition I get so amused seeing clients obtain levels of fitness far beyond what they were in their 20’s.

After having my first son in 2009 I was hit with the hard reality- I was obese. I’d never been obese growing up. I was an athlete and always extremely active. But years of living an unhealthy life lead me to a 60+ lb. weight gain. I decided that I was going to lose the weight once and for all after my first son was born. I didn’t want to be an overweight mom who’d given up on herself, watching her son from the sidelines. I wanted to run and play with him, and I couldn’t do that in the body I was in.

So I had to change. And it was hard. But once I made up my mind to do it, NOTHING was going to stop me. I lost 60 lbs. in 11 months. I began running, eating better, and adapting to a new lifestyle. Then baby #2 came, and I had to do it all over again. I continued running throughout my pregnancy and when he was a year old, I decided I wanted to push the limits of my body. I began training for a bikini competition, replacing my running shoes for barbells.

Now, several years later, as a mother of 3 boys, living healthy is a part of our everyday life. I love helping women make changes in their lives and know that you don’t have to have an all or nothing mentality; that baby steps still move you forward, and that your best years are yet to come!
